Pretzel Polygons

Earlier in the week we did some edible math!  The focus of the lesson was on the angles of polygons. We've learned that a polygon is a closed shape with straight sides. We made different shapes using pretzels and marshmallows.  The students then drew the shape on their recording sheets and identified the number of sides and shapes.  Their favorite part was of course eating the polygons at the end!
